A single counterparty from your Chinese supplier's gate to your warehouse in Nigeria. We handle export clearance, ocean or air freight, destination entry, duty payment and final delivery.
What is DDP shipping to Nigeria?
DDP means we quote one price covering pickup in China, export declaration, ocean or air freight, Nigerian customs entry, import duty and VAT, and delivery to your address. Sea freight runs roughly 30 to 40 days door to door and air freight roughly 7 to 12 days. Customs inspection fees and demurrage caused by incomplete documents are excluded and passed through at cost.

We put inclusions and exclusions in writing on every quotation, so there is no argument about scope after the cargo has shipped.

- Customs inspection and scanning fees, if your shipment is selected
- Port storage and demurrage caused by incomplete or incorrect documents
- Duty rate or exchange rate changes after the quotation date
- Cargo insurance, quoted separately on request
- Special handling for oversized or overweight single pieces
When DDP is the right choice
First-time importers
If you have not imported into Nigeria before and do not want to manage clearance, DDP puts the whole chain on one contract.
Buyers without a customs broker
You do not need your own broker or bonded arrangement in Nigeria. Our Lagos team files the entry.
Regular restocking
Repeat shipments on a predictable schedule, where a fixed all-in rate makes landed cost easy to calculate.
What we need from you
Send these with your enquiry and we can quote accurately the first time. Missing documents are the most common cause of delay at the destination port.
- Commercial invoice, signed and stamped
- Packing list with carton dimensions and gross weight
- Form M and PAAR reference, where applicable to your import
- SONCAP or NAFDAC certificate, depending on the product

Nigeria DDP questions
Who is the importer of record on a DDP shipment?
The consignee named on the documents remains the importer of record in Nigeria. We act as your forwarder and file the entry on your behalf using your Form M and PAAR where those apply. We will confirm the exact arrangement for your shipment in writing before booking.
What happens if customs inspects my container?
Inspection is a decision made by Nigerian customs, not by us. If your shipment is selected we notify you, attend the inspection, and pass through the actual inspection and scanning charges at cost. Because these charges are outside our control, they are excluded from the DDP price rather than hidden inside it.
Can you deliver outside Lagos?
Yes. Delivery to Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Onitsha and other major cities is available and quoted as an add-on to the Lagos rate, based on the actual distance and cargo profile. Send us the delivery address and we will confirm the cost.
